Farm Credit of the Virginias is seeking to hire an Information Systems Specialist I in Verona, VA.
From your first day, you will be part of an engaged and detail-oriented team! The Information Systems Specialist provides association computer services, to include front line help desk support, planning the utilization of computer systems, purchasing and installing equipment, coordinating or conducting computer training.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Associates degree in information technology or a related field; or relevant experience considered.
· Experience with providing “help desk” service, monitoring cybersecurity concerns.
· Driver’s license
· Thorough understanding of technology systems.
· Competent to work at the highest technical level of PC installation and trouble-shooting activities to complete complex assignments.
· Skill in solving complex technical issues independently.
· Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft suite of products.
· Ability to be a part of a small technical team which is willing to pitch in on the least complex to most complex business challenges.
· Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical issues in an end-user friendly manner.
· Solid project management skills and good understanding of best practices in project management.
· Ability to travel within our footprint and occasionally outside our footprint for training
Salary Range: $59,300-$86,600 plus incentive opportunities
