Job Description

As a Lift Truck Technician with MH Equipment, you will perform duties including maintenance, repairs, inspections, painting /touch up of Lift Trucks and/or other Material Handling equipment to make ready for sale.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean, inspect, and report condition of equipment and estimate of costs
  • Perform the determined repairs to equipment accurately, effectively and timely
  • Paint and touch up assets as prioritized by the remarketing dept.
  • Assist with Shipping and receiving of equipment delivered to location
  • Assist with Organizing the inventory in warehouse to assure space is effectively utilized
  • Keep a clean, organized work area
  • Accurately account for all parts, shop supplies, misc. items used
  • Keep accurate documentation for all work performed
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Work Rules
  • Keep manager advised of all job status, charges, additional requirements, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:

A technical background along with computer experience is required.
Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, fuel, and charging systems are a plus.
Painting experience would also be a plus.
Must have own tools.
Must also have good communication skills, organizational skills and be able to perform minor administrative duties.
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Regular and prompt attendance is required.
Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.
Working Conditions: Employee is expected to work forty hours per week plus overtime as required.
