Job Description

The Village of Claycomo is accepting applications for a full time Public Works Employee.

Public Works responsibilities include general building maintenance, janitorial, mowing & landscaping, animal control, and building inspections.

This position requires the following: knowledge or willingness to learn building codes and nuisance ordinances, requiring enforcement; general building and equipment maintenance; and basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook) is necessary.

Applicants must be willing to handle multiple tasks efficiently and possess a high level of communication and organizational skills. The Public Works Employee must be willing to work independently but is required to report to the Village Clerk, and work with administrative staff. Daily communication and planning is a priority.

General hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM, and weekends as requested for community events. Salary range depending upon experience is $29,000-$34,000.
