Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies is accepting applications for a full-time Groundskeeper position in Millbrook, NY.
Duties include providing year-round care of grounds associated with buildings, roadsides, research and other designated areas. Participate in turf, tree and shrub care and landscape construction and maintenance. Assist in the supervision of Assistant Groundskeepers, seasonal employees and volunteers as needed.
Qualifications include a High School diploma plus two years of practical work experience in grounds maintenance. Must be experienced in operating lawn maintenance equipment and chainsaws. Valid driver’s license required. Experience is larger tractor mowers and a Certified Pesticide Applicators license a plus.
This is a full-time, salaried, non-exempt, unionized and benefited position. Attractive health benefits and paid time off package.
