Job Description

Information Technology Security Analyst

Company Description

Information Technology Partners, Inc. (ITP) founded in 1991, is an information technology design firm and managed services provider. We specialize in contemporary network and client computing technologies. The ITP headquarters location is in California, and we maintain offices in New York, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. ITP provides a comprehensive suite of managed technology services to its clients in twelve countries around the world.

Position Overview

An individual that is knowledge in information technology infrastructure/networking—and specifically the security issues/implications of its design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance/care. This includes securing and monitoring all aspects of the technology infrastructure; power management, switching, routing, wide area networking, security posture alignment, servers and storage, hypervisors, relational databases, patching, client devices, mobile devices, user authentication, etc.

We do not wish to be disrespectful—but for everyone’s benefit, please understand our need to be direct. Just because you can spell “security”, or you have installed advanced threat protection on fifty desktops in your last position does not mean you can lead a team of talented infrastructure engineers and interface with our clients regarding patching, securing, monitoring, and responding to threat actor activity in an enterprise IT environment. We seek the person that has a deep understanding of technology security and the related tool sets, persistent monitoring and alerting, and incident response protocols. You must be a full participant in planning and executing these activities. If you have never participated in a structured security incident response process—you are not our desired candidate. You must have the discipline to remain ever vigilant in a “one breach is too many” world. A high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and expert communication skill is required as this position interfaces directly with our clients.

  • Planning the Security Posture for the Full Enterprise IT Stack
  • Serve as the Security Lead/Interface for Assigned Customers
  • Lead the Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of Security Tool Sets
  • Establishing and Maintaining Compliance Standards
  • Establishing and Maintaining Monitoring Standards

  • We are seeking coverage for day, swing, and graveyard shifts. Some shifts may include Saturday or Sunday as we must maintain 24 / 7 coverage.

Additional information

  • Local candidates only. No agencies or third parties.
  • Pay commensurate with experience and local market.
  • Full benefits package - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401k and paid time off
  • All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
