IT Infrastructure Project Manager

We are looking for experienced and motivated Infrastructure Project Managers to manage and guide the design, construction and implementation of complex distributed processing networks. The majority of our projects are long term in duration and require a savvy project leader to guide the team of qualified and energetic technical staff.

The person in this position must have excellent customer service skills and be able to build trust internally and with the client/partner. This ability is imperative to the success of the projects.

The nature of the position may require working non-standard hours on occasion, as well as some travel.

Responsibilities:

 Interpret detailed project charters

 Translate technology infrastructure requirements (high-level and functional)

 Create/maintain a detailed project plan (work breakdown structure)

 Assign and coordinate project resources

 Lead the project team; from project kickoff to closure

 Proactive communication with sponsors, stakeholders and team members

 Management of the project scope, deliverables and timeline

 Management of the materials budget

 Management of the scope change approval process

 Facilitate project closure and lessons learned

 Bachelor’s Degree or higher

 3+ Years in an infrastructure Project Manager role

 Working knowledge of technical infrastructures and network systems

 Experience with at least one named project management methodology

 Awareness of Microsoft and VMWare server technologies

 Awareness of Microsoft and Apple client device technologies

 Full system life cycle perspective and experience

 Exceptional customer service skills

 Excellent written and oral communication skills

 Desire and ability to learn

 Ability to lead and manage a team
