Job Description

 GovCIO is currently hiring for a Radio Frequency Engineer to provide engineering support to the Fixed Submarine Broadcast System program. This position will be located in Charleston, SC and will be an onsite position.
 
 

Provides installation and technical expertise in research, design, development, commissioning, test, and evaluation, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements directly related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high powered broadcast systems. 


Must be recognized as an expert in design, field modification, test, and evaluation of FVLF/LF transmitters, antennas, and antenna tuning systems as senior engineer responsible for commissioning and/or leading major modifications of current generation of FVLF/LF radio transmitters. Must experience in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory and operation, experience with MultiSIM or PSPICE.


Performs intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure transmitter systems are operating efficiently. Resolves system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolation. 

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years experience
Primarily onsite position with occasional remote opportunities.

15 years experience specifically in research, design, development, commissioning, test, and evaluation, to include:

Technology Analysis and Assessment
Design Definition
Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration
Test & Evaluation Criteria
Logistics support of C4ISR requirements directly related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high powered broadcast systems.
