Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a leading
provider of energy and climate consulting services to the federal government,
is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to support our defense
clients in the area of utility and climate data analysis. A successful
candidate will enjoy working in a team environment to identify ways to analyze
utility and climate data across a headquarters utility portfolio.
Key
Responsibilities:​
Support transformation and management of utility program planning and execution processes and procedures with the goal of consolidating reporting requirements from field installations, tracking execution levels, facilitating utility data analyses, and supporting senior-level decision-making on utility issues.Support the development utility-related policy, including projecting annual utility requirements, developing utility rates for reimbursable tenants, and designing new utility-related cost accounting structures.Provide supporting data instrumental for developing climate-related policy stemming from recent legislation and Executive OrdersDevelop, model, and analyze large data sets related to installation energy, water resources, facilities, utility assets, and climateCreate compelling reports, visualizations, and tools to drive action items for federal defense clients, including annual energy management reports.Provide technical and analytical support for improving budget forecasting and estimating tools, including assessment of internal and external utility rates, consumption trends, climate impacts, and budget execution dataInteract with federal clients as well as team subcontractors, and in certain instances, be able to guide team members through project work plansDeliver detailed updates to senior leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings and/or forums

Basic
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Engineering, Finance/Economics, Environmental Science or related field plus 4-6 years directly related experience5 years supporting utility and/or climate data managementProven experience and knowledge of DoD utilities issues, policies, and programsDemonstrated knowledge of facility utilities, including electricity, natural gas, fuel oil, water, as well as utility consuming equipment, including renewable systems, cogeneration, and treatment plantsDemonstrated understanding of greenhouse gas accounting dataWillingness and ability to set priorities and produce high quality deliverables with a high degree of attention to detail and processExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including frequent and proactive client engagement Ability to work in teams, establish and maintain cross-functional and cross-organizational working relationshipsAbility to grasp technical concepts and competently apply policy to project requirements definition, programming, and executionProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced level in ExcelOutstanding problem-solving skills and critical thinkingInterest in working on DoD projects to advance national security

Knowledge of Marine Corps and DoD organizational structure and operational missions Demonstrated understanding of Federal (preferably DoD) appropriations, financial management regulations, and oversight of utilities operations and maintenance budgets.Ability to organize, analyze, and synthesize large amounts of data to inform utilities operations and maintenance budget decisions and policyExperience with programming languages (R, Python, and Visual Basic) data analytics (Tableau), and/or geospatial analysis tools (GIS)

Job Requirements
