Job Description

Summary

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Responsible for managing HR administrative tasks – filing, copying documents, mass mailings, updating phone directory, coordinating/scheduling meetings, update phone lists, book hotel rooms, update HRIS systems with changes, and other people processes.

· Responsible for online recruitment process, job postings, and removal once position filled for all local ASM Global venues in Wichita and Andover.

· Process new hires and terminations through HRIS systems. Currently maintaining both ADP and Workday.

· Create, maintain, and update personnel, medical, Confidentiality and I-9 files in compliance with established company policy.

· Conduct new hire orientation training and local ASM Global onboarding training.

· Attend job fairs as needed as needed.

· Assist with maintaining affirmative action plan.

· Responsible for maintaining office supply orders for the arena and maintaining applicable inventory of supplies on hand and sending out Fed Ex upon request.

· Oversee employee recognition program, both part-time and full-time.

· Assist with responding to Unemployment and Verification inquiries.

· Update HRIS with employee changes. Assist with employee data maintenance and ad-hoc requests.

· Maintain monthly tracking of non-profit use of Marque.

· Effectively communicate established ASM Global Human Resource policies and standards.

· Maintain integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

· Must be able to handle multiple tasks during a workday.

· Assist HR Manager with projects.

· Assist with coordinating training.

· Regular attendance is an essential job function.

· Position requires the ability to work at all ASM Global facilities in Wichita and Andover.

· Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

· 2-3 years human resources related experience preferred, or combination of administrative and human resource experience.

· 1-2 years ADP and Workday experience preferred.

· Previous HRIS system required.

· Must be able to pass a background/credit check.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent customer service skills.

Skills and Abilities

· Excellent punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.

· Proven ability to utilize discretion and best judgment when handling confidential information.

· Must be able to alphabetize.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at a highly efficient level.

· Must be able to multi-task between job functions efficiently.

· Ability to get along with manager, co-workers, guests, vendors, and visitors to the facility.

· Ability to be a team player.

· Must be able to function effectively and independently with minimal supervision.

· Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.

· Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.

· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of recruiting and human resources.

· Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

· Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Eligible to work in United States.

Computer Skills

· Operate a computer using Windows/ Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).

· Operate copy machine.

· Operate scanning system.

· Knowledge of recruiting software (Workday), recruiting websites, and ADP preferred.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires stooping and lifting, and walking. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time, using eyes, hands, fingers, and wrists to input data. Ability to move up and down to file in large file cabinets. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. to move boxes.
